Cauliflower Fry (Gobi Fry)

Hi Guys!! Today I’m going to give some tips to cook Cauliflower, which one of the favorite vegetable among vegetarians around the Globe. Some time the question arises why Cauliflower is liked by most of the people, the answer is very simple…The dishes made of cauliflower are not only tasty and but also have some huge health benefits. Let me explain some health benefits… They are excellent source of vitamin C & Manganese, which are both powerful antioxidants. They are high in fiber and low in calories, which help to clean our digestive system. Like other cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, kale), it contains substance that can help prevent cancer. The Recipe for today is Cauliflower Fry (Gobi Fry), which is a very delicious dish. Sometime you should try this dish…here is the recipe if you want to try…

Ingredients:
·         Cauliflower – 2 Cup
·         Onion – 1(Large)
·         Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
·         Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
·         Red Chili Powder – 1 ½ tsp
·         Cumin Powder – 1 Pinch
·         Ginger & Garlic Paste – I tsp (Optional)
·         Salt as per taste
·         Cooking Oil – 3 tbsp

Preparation Method:
Ø  Cut Cauliflower in medium florets. Wash and drain them.
Ø  Cut Onion in slice.
Ø  Heat Oil in a Pan; Add Slice Onion and saute for 3 mins.  
Ø  Add Ginger & Garlic Paste and saute for 2 mins.
Ø  Add Cauliflower Florets and saute for 5 mins.
Ø  Then add Salt; Turmeric Powder; Red Chili Powder; Cumin Powder and mix well.
Ø  Cover and cook for 5 mins in a medium flame.
Ø  Uncover the Pan and cook in low flame till the Cauliflower Florets gets tender.
Ø  Now the “Cauliflower Fry” is ready.
“Gobi Fry” is well served with Steamed Rice, Fried Rice, Pulao, Roti, Paratha and even with Puri.
