Mixed Fruit Custard

Custard is one the most popular dessert that is famous around the Globe, which is a variety of culinary preparations with mixtures of Milk or Cream along with Custard Powder. Custard Powder is basically a combination of Cornflower and Salt and to add flavor & color, Vanilla & Annatto are used. These days Custard Power is readily available in the super market and because of this preparation of Custard became so simple to everyone.

Ingredients:
·         Custard Powder – 3 tbsp
·         Sugar – 4 tbsp (Or as per taste)
·         Milk – 2 Cups
·         Apple  (cubes)– ½ Cup
·         Seedless Grapes – ½ Cup
·         Pomegranate Seeds – ½ Cup

Preparation Method:
Ø  Take 1½ cup of Milk in a Pan and bring it to boil. Then add Sugar and mix it properly.
Ø  Meanwhile, take the remaining ½ cup of milk (on room temperature) & add the Custard Powder and mix it well so as to avoid any lumps while cooking.
Ø  When the sugar is dissolved, add custard mix milk and cook the mixture around 10 minutes on gentle heat but keep stirring the mixture continuously till it gets a thick consistency.
Ø  Then turn off the heat and allow it to cool about 15-20 minutes and then refrigerate it for an hour.
Ø  Once cooled the custard becomes more thicken. Finally the mixture is ready to serve.
Ø  Before serving add the cut fruits in the mixture.
